SMALL BUSINESS ADVICE: How do I go to market with just one product?
I have a manufactured a luxury kitchen product but it is the only one I have as of yet. Who do I approach first? Will my company be taken seriously with just one product. I know Microsoft only had one when they started but that was for a mass market and mine is niche. I would like to sell it through retailers globally rather than directly from my site as I only have one product. Any sound business advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance

- what about going on Dragons Den or visiting their website
- patent first then approach stores about stocking your product and get your site running properly aswell --- you may want funding from an investor at this point --- then mass manufacture wait and see what happens
- One is a start.
- I don't see a problem with selling it from your site. Many websites market only one product...think of all the "Learn How To" courses that are out there. Get it on your site, go to flea markets and do demos, perhaps home shows, see if you can get on your local news channel (or in the paper) as a "local inventor creates... Give several away (or lend for x days) to users and ask for testimonials
- Dear Friend, I am looking for some partners to join hands to achieve win-win cooperation. I wonder if you have interest in running your own Interracial dating site or work-at-home business. I would like to set it up for you at no cost . You can earn money if you can get users registering at your dating site. Please feel free to contact me marketingmanager008@gmail.com for details. - Hi MJ, By far the most important thing that any potential retailer will want to know is "How many have you sold?" I'd strongly suggest setting up your own web site to sell the product and then using pay per click, like Google Adwords or Yahoo! Sponsored Search to target you niche. You can target your niche by asking your self, what do people already buy that would show that they would have an interest in your product also? Make sure to sell at your full retail price. Armed with this information, you would be able to approach retailers with a proven product that sells.
